Rád bych si spustil lokální server Zdoom Wars, kde bych něco testoval (tak dobře, chci vidět opravdu epickou bitvu monster ;). Poradíte mi, co dělám špatně, že musím udělat tolik kroků?
Zkoušel jsem spustit server přes program Internet Doom Explorer. Nastavil to dle Návodu z webu tvůrce ZDW
Tak tedy spustím server z okna serveru tlačítkem Join. Svůj server totiž v seznamu serverů pod Servers nikde nevidím (první proč).
V okně běžícího serveru vyberu z menu Maps nějakou Zdoomwars mapu a v menu File se připojím příkazem Join. (protože v seznamu serverů ten server nevidím).
Spustí se mi SkullTag/Doom, Bohužel se to z nějakého důvodu nepřipojí k serveru. Musím do konzole a ručně zadat connect 192.168.1.37 (moje ip ;). Proč se to nepřipojí k tomu serveru samo hned? (druhé proč).
Takže možná obě otázky směřují k jedné první. Proč svůj servern nevidiím na seznamu serverů?
